Canon PowerShot SX260 HS

The new successor to the excellent SX230HS is Canon PowerShot SX260 HS. Similar to its precursor, this camera sports a 12 MP image sensor and an inbuilt GPS and additionally it also has a 20x zoom lens without raising the camera size. It turns out to be an excellent performer and a good choice for geotaggers.

It is not the least pricey ($350) compact superzoom camera in the market, but still it has the ability to capture excellent images, particularly at low ISO settings. The GPS feature works pretty well and the camera has adequate control to make photography a pleasure.
